Amanda Luton was born and raised in the small town Glenrock, Wyoming. She received her early training under Shirley Lewis and Rocky Mountain School of Dance in Casper, Wyoming. She attended the University of Utah on full scholarship to the ballet department, and graduated with University and Departmental honors, completing a double emphasis in performance and teaching. While at the University Amanda was a member of the Utah Ballet and Character Dance Ensemble. As a member of Utah Ballet she performed as a soloist in La Bayadere, Fanny Cerrito inPas de Quatre, Les Sylphides, and Red, a contemporary work. While a member of the University’s Character Dance Ensemble (CDE), she traveled to Canada, China, and Russia studying and performing ballet and character. Amanda is currently living, dancing and teaching in Denver, Colorado where she is excited to begin her fourth season with David Taylor Dance Theatre. She is has also completed her Pilates certification and is currently teaching Pilates as a part of fitness and injury rehabilitation and prevention.

Amanda is currently enrolled in the American Ballet Theatre teacher training program. She will be able to teach the curriculum that is taught at ABT exclusively to the students at Artistic Fusion.
